It is sometimes difficult to imagine how components interact without actually playing with them in your hand. In this project, I learned to quickly iterate through designs that seemed unintuitive at first, and test individual functionalities before combining them together to create a functional prototype.

What became apparent in early testing is that the gap between each lip of the bowl is significantly smaller than I expected. The blade that separates the bowl needs to be thin yet strong enough to not deflect significantly during the operation. Having found the critical dimension, it became clear that the design needs to be sturdy, simple, and highly repeatable.
